Hello! My name is Splunkunio Splunkey. I have come to Planet Earth with a mission to help bring friendship and peace to your Planet. It seems the adults and children here are having a hard time getting along. And so, no surprise, the nations of the world are not getting along.

I decided it would be my job to help make a difference in your life on Planet Earth. In order to do this, I need your help, your cooperation and your trust in me that I really want to do what I say I want to do, and that I can do it.

Where I come from - Planet Onyx - we have learned through hundreds of years to respect and care for each other. And, we had the help of an alien space traveler who finally brought us to a century of peace.

You children are the next generation - the new leaders and teachers - to take Planet Earth into a century of friendship, peace and progress. And it all starts with children and adults deciding that they need and want peace on earth; that everyone who lives on earth is important.

You need to understand that you - yes, you! - can do the things you need and want to do. You may wonder how I can do this. To bring about a peaceful planet is a huge job.

Every job starts with small steps. We have to start within families and among friends.

We need to start within your family and with your friends. We need to start with you believing in yourself - Believing that you have within yourself the skills and knowhow to make what you want happen. And, my mission is to help you help yourselves to make Earth a planet of friendship, cooperation and peace.

This Mission Statement is designed for parents, guardians and older siblings to read to and with young children as a family.
